This privacy policy explains how AirText ("the App") handles information.
Last Updated: November 17, 2025
We explicitly state that AirText collects, stores, or transmits **zero** personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, location, etc.).
Your identity remains completely anonymous.
The core function of AirText is to transfer text that you voluntarily enter into the App.
You are responsible for the security of your own local WiFi network and the people you share the IP address with.
AirText requires the following permissions to function correctly:
android.permission.INTERNET: This permission is essential to create the local HTTP server on your device. Although it says "Internet," the App does not send any data to the public internet.
android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: This is used to read your WiFi network status and identify your device's local IP address to display it to you.
None of these permissions are used to track you or collect any personal data.
We may update this privacy policy in the future. Any changes will be posted on this page.
