READ_CALL_LOG & READ_PHONE_STATE
- Purpose: We use these permissions solely to detect the state of an incoming call (ringing) and to retrieve the caller's phone number in real-time.
- Usage: This allows us to query our database and display the caller's name on your screen overlay.
- Privacy: We do not upload your personal call history to our servers for storage. The phone number is sent ephemerally to our API only to fetch the caller's name.
3. User Contacts & Data Sync (Prominent Disclosure)
Important Disclosure regarding your Contact List:
The App collects, uploads, and syncs your Contact List information (specifically Names and Phone Numbers) to our server at https://cronusmax.ir.
This data collection is performed to enable the "Caller ID and Spam Detection" feature, allowing the identification of unknown numbers for you and other users.
Note: This data transmission may occur even when the app is closed or not in use.
READ_CONTACTS Permission Details
- Data Collected: Contact names and phone numbers from your device's address book.
- Specific Server: Data is uploaded to https://cronusmax.ir.
- Purpose: This data is used to build a crowdsourced directory that helps identify unknown callers and detect spam for the community.
- Transmission & Security: Your contact data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our servers. We implement encryption to protect this data.
- User Choice: Granting this permission is optional. You can use the basic features of the App without syncing your contacts, although Caller ID accuracy may be limited.
4. Overlay & Background Service
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Used to display the Caller ID popup over other apps when a call comes in.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Ensures the app remains active in the background to listen for incoming calls reliably without being killed by the system.
5. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data (such as your Advertising ID) to provide personalized ads. Google Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion
