This Privacy Policy describes how NetPulse ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to user privacy. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information like your name, email address, or phone number to use our app.

The information we collect is limited to the following:

Anonymous Device Identifier (deviceId): When you first launch the app, we generate a random, unique identifier (deviceId). This ID is stored securely on your device and is not linked to your personal identity. We use this deviceId for two specific purposes:
1. To secure the connection to our server using HMAC authentication (X-MAC header).
2. To associate your anonymous identity with any proxies or VPNs you choose to submit, and to manage your "Likes" on community submissions.
User-Submitted Content: We collect the proxy and VPN configuration data that you voluntarily submit to share with the community. This content is associated with your anonymous deviceId.
Third-Party Advertising (AdMob): We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use certain data to provide personalized ads, such as your device's advertising ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

Provide and maintain the Service.
Secure our platform and authenticate clients.
Manage the community-driven database of proxies and VPNs.
Display advertisements to support the app (via Google AdMob).
Notify you about the status of your submissions (e.g., "approved").

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

Your anonymous deviceId and submitted content are processed by our server to operate the Service. We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners.

We take security seriously. We use technical measures, such as HMAC authentication based on a shared secret and your deviceId, to protect the data transmitted between your device and our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
